Using My Trips

After you have performed a hot sync, you will see the My Trips icon. Tap on the icon to start the application.

 

 

When the application starts you will see the home page from where you can navigate to all of the bid package information. The home page will display the first rotation of the current month.

Viewing Rotations

The rotation displayed is always the current month as determined by the date in your palm. To view next month's bid package click on the down arrow next to the month just below the Check in time.

To view a specific rotation enter the rotation number next to find and click on go. If the entire rotation is too large to fit on the screen, you can scroll down using the down arrow in the bottom right corner of the screen

You can move scroll between rotations using the arrows at the top of the window. Click on the single right button to view the next rotation in sequence. Click on the double right button to jump forward ten rotations. Click on the end of file button to jump to the last rotation in the list. Clicking on the left buttons will move in the opposite direction.

Displaying Hotel Data From the Rotation

To view hotel information about a layover city, click on the layover line in the rotation. All of the information from the hotel tip sheet for that city will be displayed.

Use the scroll bar on the right to view all of the information. This data contains all of the essential phone numbers, for all of the hotels Delta uses in that city, as well as the limo numbers and pickup point on the airport. To return to the rotation display click on the BACK button at the top of the screen.

Adding a Rotation to the Date Book

My trips can automatically add a rotation to the Palm date book application. Click on the "Add to Dbook" button near the top of the rotation display. This will display a calendar for the current month.

Click on the day the rotation begins. All of the data for each leg of the rotation and each layover will be transferred to the date book. Please be patient, this process is relatively slow. The longer the rotation, the longer it takes, but it is much faster that if you attempted to do it manually!

To see the information in the date book, launch the date book application and select the day you inserted the information.

The departure and arrival time for each leg are annotated on the left. If it is the last leg of the day the layover hotel is also listed.

Viewing Lines of Time

Click on the Lines button at the upper right portion of the home page. This will display the first line of time in the selected month.

 

The Lines are displayed in a calendar format. The total credit is displayed in the upper right corner.

To view a specific line of time you can;

  1. Enter the line number in next to find and click on go.

  2. Click on the left or right arrow at the top of the screen until the desired line is displayed.

  3. Use the scroll bar on the right to scroll to the desired line.

To view a specific rotation on the displayed line of time just click on the rotation number and the selected rotation will be displayed. Click on the LINES button near  the top right side of the window to return to the line of time display.

Viewing the Cover Sheet

Click on the Cover button to display the cover sheet at the front of the bid sheet. The text is not formatted for the palm so it is not very pretty but all of the information is in there. Use the scroll bar to find the information you are looking for. Click on the BACK button at the top of the screen to return to the home page.

Viewing the Hotel Tip Sheet

Click on the Hotel button to display the Hotel Tip Sheet information The city displayed is the last city viewed. Use the scroll bar to display more information.

 

To view a different city, click on the first letter of the three city code for the city you want to display. Now use the right arrow at the top of the window as necessary until the desired is displayed. The cities are in alphabetical order.

The tip sheet also contains codes for hotel amenities. The key for these codes can be displayed by clicking on the information button in the top right corner of the screen. Don't forget to use the scroll bar to view all the codes.
